When someone comes to faith during a church service, it is sometimes difficult to know how to encourage and disciple that person in their first days and weeks as a Christian.

Created specifically to help churches meaningfully support and engage with those at the beginning of their Christian walk, this small and informational Christmas Response Pack has been used by J.John at all evangelistic Christmas services over a number of years.

We are delighted to make this Christmas Response Pack available for all churches to use during the season of Advent and Christmas.

With our thanks to a generous donor who has subsidised the cost of these Response Packs to allow churches to buy them at a reduced price.

Each Christmas Response Pack includes:

  • The Life of Christ – Gospel of John
  • Making the Christmas Connection – an introduction to the Christian faith that explains how to make the connection to God and become part of the church
  • Response envelope – with perforated response form, enabling you to contact the person responding

Use this Christmas Response Pack during Advent and Christmas services.

How it works

  • When someone makes a decision to become a Christian or to explore Christianity more intentionally, we suggest that a member of your response team or prayer team takes time to sit and pray with them as they may wish to discuss their decision.
  • We recommend that the member of the response team talks them through the contents of this Christmas Response Pack and encourages them to read through it.
  • Should the person who has responded wish to give their details to allow the church to contact them in the future, encourage them to complete the form on the back of the envelope. Note that all contact details collected should be stored in line with your data protection policy and no data should be submitted to Philo Trust or any other third party.
